Eddie Mack Heard, age 83, of Brownwood, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025. A graveside service for Eddie will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, September 20, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in May.

Eddie was born on February 23, 1942, in Owens to Elsie and J D (Jack) Heard. He was a mechanic, welder, and Jack of All Trades throughout his entire life. He enjoyed hunting for arrowheads and Native American Artifacts, hunting, and fishing.

Eddie is survived by his 3 sons, David Heard and wife Sandy, Charles Heard and wife Julie, and Jay Heard and wife Misty; grandchildren, Cassie, Kristian, Sydney, Zachary, Nathan, Justin, Keelee, Kenzee, Addy, and Hagen; and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, JD, Charlene, Bobby, Billie, Lola May, Lonnie, Gerald, Mickie, and George.
