
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office issued the following information:
- On September 2, 2025, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, responded to a welfare check at CR 347. I arrived on scene and spoke to CALDWELL, SHELBY DENISE (04/30/1995, W/F) and McMillian, Lillian Coker (05/13/1948, W/F). Information was gathered and a report was made.
- On September 9, 2025, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, responded to an active domestic disturbance on Bray in Brownwood, TX. The caller stated a male and female, later identified at BALLARD, LARRY JOE (11/08/1968, W/M) and Walters, Jami Michelle (08/03/1979, W/F), were actively yelling at each other and BALLARD hit Walters. I arrived in the area and through the open window of my Sheriff’s Office vehicle, I was able to hear BALLARD and Walters screaming at each other. I was able to locate them by following the sound of their screaming. BALLARD was subsequently arrested for a local warrant. A report was made.
- On Friday, September 12, 2025, at 07:21 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff TJ Harrell was dispatched to Brin Street for an animal complaint. Upon arrival, Deputy Harrell spoke with the complainant, who stated a small brown dog had attacked her dog. Information was gathered and a report was generated. Deputy Harrell was able to take possession of the small dog. The small dog was placed in the Corine T. Smith Animal Shelter.
- On 09/13/2025, at 1546 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson was dispatched to a walk in at the Law Enforcement Center regarding criminal trespass. John Truitt said Christopher Gross has been trespassing on his property located at Oak Point. Information was taken and a report has been made.
- On Saturday 09/13/2025, at about 2158 hours, Deputy Chris Williamson was dispatched to a disorderly conduct call, which took place at the Lakeside Bar and Grill, located at Lakeside Dr., Brownwood, TX. Jeffery Don Parks and his girlfriend, Beverely Renee Gonzales, were assaulted while at the bar and grill. Parks and Gonzales were no longer on scene when they called authorities. Information was gathered and a report was made.
- On Sunday, September 14, 2025, Brown County Deputy Sheriff TJ Harrell was dispatched to a residence on County Road 101 in Brown County for a burglary. The door to the building located on the property had been pried open. Information was gathered and a report was generated.
