Robert Lee (Bob) Huebner, 93, of Santa Anna, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025.

Bob was born on February 16, 1932, in Utica, Kentucky, to Martin Francis and Julia Freshley Huebner. He graduated from Deer Creek High School in Oklahoma, where he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. Shortly after graduation, Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.

On June 20, 1953, Bob married his high school sweetheart, Patsy Ruth Fowler. Together they had four children: Roberta, Linda Dianne, Michael Gene, and Susan.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Roberta Duncan and husband Kenneth, Susan Mitchell and husband Otis; grandsons Justin Duncan and wife Lacie, Jason Duncan and wife Jodi, and Matthew Mitchell; and great-grandchildren Luke, Ryan, Jace, Jaxson, Ryder, and Ellie Duncan. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Michelle Huebner of Odessa and Shirley Moore of Edmond, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Linda Dianne Huebner; his son, Michael Gene Huebner; siblings Ruth Ann and husband Jim Barnes of Pauls Valley, OK, Kay and husband Nelson Dick Zachary of Commerce, TX, Martine and husband Jay Creel of Pearl, MS; his brother, Harold Glen Huebner of Odessa, TX, and a brother n law, Charles A Moore of Edmond, Ok.

Bob was a faithful member of Bangs First Baptist Church for many years and later attended Grosvenor Baptist Church. A private service with military honors will be held at Rocky Creek Cemetery, with interment to follow.

Bob moved his young family to Odessa, Texas, where he worked in the oil industry for many years. Later, they settled in Bangs, Texas, where he purchased a propane and feed business. Through his hard work, vision, and determination, Bob’s L.P. Gas, Feed and Seed grew into a successful business. He retired in 2010 to focus on farming and ranching.

He is now at peace.
