
GODLEY – The Brownwood Lady Lions placed second as a team and the Lions came in 10th overall at the Godley cross country meet on Friday.
The Lady Lions finished with 73 points, trailing only Godley with 36, as competitors included Lyndi Biasiolli (5th, 13:30.88), Rebekah Delgado (13th, 14:04.09), Ailean Palacios (16th, 14:18.34), Khloe Galvan (21st, 14:45.07), Haylee Adkins (22nd, 14:46.0), and Joclyn Salazar (37th, 15:36. 28).
The Lions generated 213 points as runners included Bennett Windham (10th, 18:32.27), Hayden Mair (38th, 20:01.82), Reagun Munsugu (58th, 20:55.48), Adrian Skrhak (65th, 21:22.07), Brayden Musick (67th, 21:24.62), and Carter Massey (69th, 21:29.45).
In JV action, the Lions were the team champion while the Lady Lions came in fifth place.
The JV Lions notched 71 points to the 73 of runner-up Brock and were led by Juston Burt (2nd, 20:35.0), Brayden Munsell (9th, 21:54.17), Gio Diaz (16th, 22:16.16), Valente Cardenas (20th, 22:34.82), Jonathan Solano (24th, 22:53.19), Jonathan Skrhak (36th, 23:40.49), and Kip Havens (71st, 25:46.51).
The JV Lady Lions netted 125 points sparked by Destiny Long (8th, 15:41.51), Destiny Sharp (10th, 15:51.32), Montanna Ramsey (20th, 17:01.5), Kylie Arocha (36th, 18:06.35), Brooklyn Bouldin (69th, 20:05.12), and Natalie Dillard (73rd, 20:24.5).
The Brownwood cross country teams will compete again at the Glen Rose Invitational on Wednesday.
