GODLEY – The Brownwood Lady Lions placed second as a team and the Lions came in 10^th overall at the Godley cross country meet on Friday.

The Lady Lions finished with 73 points, trailing only Godley with 36, as competitors included Lyndi Biasiolli (5^th, 13:30.88), Rebekah Delgado (13^th, 14:04.09), Ailean Palacios (16^th, 14:18.34), Khloe Galvan (21^st, 14:45.07), Haylee Adkins (22^nd, 14:46.0), and Joclyn Salazar (37^th, 15:36. 28).

The Lions generated 213 points as runners included Bennett Windham (10^th, 18:32.27), Hayden Mair (38^th, 20:01.82), Reagun Munsugu (58^th, 20:55.48), Adrian Skrhak (65^th, 21:22.07), Brayden Musick (67^th, 21:24.62), and Carter Massey (69^th, 21:29.45).

In JV action, the Lions were the team champion while the Lady Lions came in fifth place.

The JV Lions notched 71 points to the 73 of runner-up Brock and were led by Juston Burt (2^nd, 20:35.0), Brayden Munsell (9^th, 21:54.17), Gio Diaz (16^th, 22:16.16), Valente Cardenas (20^th, 22:34.82), Jonathan Solano (24^th, 22:53.19), Jonathan Skrhak (36^th, 23:40.49), and Kip Havens (71^st, 25:46.51).

The JV Lady Lions netted 125 points sparked by Destiny Long (8^th, 15:41.51), Destiny Sharp (10^th, 15:51.32), Montanna Ramsey (20^th, 17:01.5), Kylie Arocha (36^th, 18:06.35), Brooklyn Bouldin (69^th, 20:05.12), and Natalie Dillard (73^rd, 20:24.5).

The Brownwood cross country teams will compete again at the Glen Rose Invitational on Wednesday.
