According to the City of Brownwood Facebook account, the City of Brownwood donated four storm sirens to the City of Bangs. In the coming weeks, these sirens will be refurbished and installed to enhance public safety throughout their community.
Brownwood recently replaced 12 of its own sirens through a $360,000 Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grant from FEMA. This grant award and partnership now allows both cities to strengthen emergency preparedness and ensure our residents are better protected.
