Kirk Morgan Marsh, 65, of Brownwood, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 30, 2025. He was born on April 6, 1960, in Salida, Colorado, and later made Brownwood his home.
Kirk was an accomplished Executive Chef and Food Service Manager whose culinary career included roles at Sodexo, OU Medical Center, and Dell Children’s Medical Center. Most recently, he served as Culinary Director at Grassroots Lounge in Brownwood, where he worked alongside his family, bringing together his passion for food and his love of community.
Kirk was preceded in death by his father, his wife, and his stepson, whose memories he carried with him always. He is survived by his mother, Pansy; his brothers, Randy and Rod; his stepdaughters, LaVeda and Amanda; and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Kirk’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Grassroots Lounge, 1906 Highway 377 S, Brownwood, Texas. All who knew and loved Kirk are warmly invited to attend.
