Donalesa Herring, age 59, went to be with our sweet Jesus on August 25, 2025. A visitation for Donalesa will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday August 28, 2025 at Blaylock Funeral Home in San Saba, a funeral service will follow the visitation and begin at 11:00 a.m. and will be officiated by Pastor Bill McCormick. Interment will take place at the Wallace Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home in San Saba. 

The daughter of Cora Nell Crain Hedrick and the late Donald Bush, she was born in Brady, Texas, on February 18, 1966. Lesa loved many things, but number one was God, followed by life itself, and her family. As many of you know, Lesa has suffered through many health issues, having been born without a socket in her right hip. She has been thru over 50 surgeries in her life, but always stayed positive & kept her faith in God. She was an inspiration to all because of her “never give up” attitude & her love for life. She loved her family, the outdoors, gardening, and taking pictures of God’s creations. She enjoyed spending time with her children and two grandchildren. She pleased God by honoring her mother. 

Her survivors are mother, Cora Nell Hedrick, Cherokee, TX; son, Russell Lee Herring; daughters, Megan Adair and Ruthie Herring and Joseph Gray; dear friend and father of her children, Russell Herring, Jr; granddaughter, Hazel and grandson, Joseph (JJ), all of Seagoville, TX; brother, Terry Joe (Joey) and Gayle Bush of Flatonia, TX; sisters, Becky Fabry of Hallettsville, TX, and Lynda and Bart Freeman of Llano, TX; one special aunt, Darline Boultinghouse (known as Nana) of Fredericksburg, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers: Joey Bush, Cody Bush, Joseph Gray, and Marty Oustad.

Honorary Pallbearers: Russell “Rusty” Herring and Russell Herring Jr.
