BANGS – In a rematch of Heart of Texas tournament action this past weekend, the Bangs Lady Dragons again came up short in a battle with the Comanche Maidens, 25-14, 25-18, 22-25, 25-8 Tuesday.

Bangs (3-11) was sparked by seven kills from Ashlynn Sliger, five from Cameryn Harmon, four from Karylee Sliger, three from Kinley White, and one apiece from Justice Baker and Jasmine Lewis.

Baker distributed 15 assists and served an ace, while Ashlynn Sliger tallied a team-high three aces and Adalynne Stephens and Kylee Byler chipped in two each.

On the defensive end, Cloey Petty’s 13 digs led the team followed by Stephens and Baker with 12 each, Harmon with 11, Byler with five, Cricket Caulkins with three, and Ashlynn Sliger and Karylee Sliger with one apiece.

At the net, Ashlynn Sliger chalked up three blocks, Karylee Sliger was credited with a pair and Baker added one.

The Lady Dragons will next compete in the Bronte tournament Thursday through Saturday.
