Jake Tee Kennedy, 40, of Comanche TX passed from this life Tuesday August 19, 2025, in Fort Worth, TX. The family has entrusted Heartland Funeral and Cremation Services of Comanche to honor Jake’s life in a memorial service Thursday the 21st of August 2025 at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Bobbie Davis officiating.

Jake was born May 2, 1985, in De Leon TX to Wayne and Judy (Welch) Kennedy. After school, he owned his own business in construction. He enjoyed his down time by hunting, fishing, hunting arrowheads, and spending time with the family.

Jake is survived by son, Branden Kennedy, daughter, Ashlyn Kennedy both of Comanche, wife Nicole Kennedy of Oklahoma; brothers, Cody Johnston, Remi Smith of Comanche, Wade Kennedy of Rhome, Dalton Fowler wife Ashley of Early; mother, Judy Welch of Comanche, father, Wayne Kennedy and wife Shayla of Early; grandmother, Florence Welch of Comanche; nephew, Caleb Johnston and niece, Hope Johnston both of Comanche, great nephew Josiah Johnston; great nieces, Mattie & Maren Fowler; grandparents, Bill & Dessa Thomas of Zephyr; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by Cotton Welch (Papa) of Comanche; Herb Kennedy (Pa) of Proctor, Martha Head (Nanna) of Comanche.
