Danette Wright passed from this life to the arms of Jesus at the age of 64 years at her residence in Santa Anna, Monday, August 11, 2025.

She was born July 8, 1961, in Santa Anna, Texas to her loving parents Judy Jackson & Daniel Terrell.  Danette was raised in Santa Anna where she attended school and graduated in the Class of 1980, Santa Anna High School.  As a lifetime resident of Santa Anna she was an active member of the St Willow Baptist Church and employed with the Ranger Park Nursing Home as a Nurse’s Aide.  Danette was married to David Wright in Coleman, Texas and he preceded her in death.

Danette found joy in her family outings being with those she loved best.  Dominoes and cards were her entertainment and she found adventure and education in her reading.

Survivors are 2 sisters, Patricia Coleman of Coleman, Texas and Brenda Spicer of Santa Anna, Texas; 9 Nieces; and 15 Nephews

Danette was preceded in death by her parents Judy Jackson and Daniel Terrell,

sister Mary Miller, sister Zelpha J Smith, brother Herbert Jackson

Services for Danette Wright have been set for Friday, August 15, 2025, 10:00 am at the St Willow Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Jones officiating.  Interment will follow at the Santa Anna Cemetery on her family lot.  Services under the direction and care of the staff of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna.
