During the 2025 football season, BrownwoodNews.com will unveil its Pigskin Pick ‘Em Panel, which will consist of 14 Brown County residents who each week will give their best guesses at 40 high school, college and pro football games.
The panel’s prognostications will be posted each Thursday at noon during the football season at Brownwood News.com.

Beginning the week of Aug. 25, BrownwoodNews.com will feature weekly pre-game articles on Thursdays, and games stories on Saturdays, for Brownwood, Early and Bangs, as well as a round-up both days for May, Zephyr, Blanket, Brookesmith, Comanche, Coleman, San Saba, Goldthwaite, Cross Plains, Santa Anna, Richland Springs, Mullin, Priddy, Rising Star, Sidney, and Panther Creek. Up to date standings for the local districts will be shared as well Thursday and Saturdays, as well.
