Ginger Lee Flatt, 79, of Comanche, TX passed from this life Friday the 1st of August, 2025. The family will remember her life in a funeral Tuesday the 5th of August, 2025 at Heartland Funeral and Cremations of Comanche beginning at 10 a.m. with Brother Dan Conally officiating. Family and friends will gather at 8 a.m. prior to the service for a time visitation and remembrances. She will be laid to rest following the funeral in the Downing Cemetery. Condolences can be left online at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net or the sign the register at the funeral home.

Ginger was born December 17, 1945 in Gorman TX to Arnold Allen and Dorothy Nell (Lee) Evans. She worked and retired as a Chef. She was a member and attended Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Ginger loved her animals (pets), traveling, dancing, and the outdoors.

Ginger is survived by children Anthony Hidrago and wife Denise of San Antonio; brothers and sisters, Allen Evans and wife Cherie of Dublin TX, Doris Williford of Comanche TX, Shirley Ryan of Comanche TX, Wanda Clyde and husband Rob of Comanche TX; grandchildren, Mary Katherine Brown, Mariah Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Shelby Flatt; several nieces and nephews, Roddy Evans, Cristal Gilligan, Brad Avery, Gaylee Hamrick, Quentin Hays, and Niki Wilson. She was preceded in death by parents Arnold and Dorothy Evans; nephew Chance Avery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request denotations in honor to the American Cancer Society or the charity of choice by the giver.
