Nasario ‘Jay’ Moron, Jr.

Nasario “Jay” Moron, Jr., age 74, of Brady, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in Brady. Jay, as he was known by most, was born on February 13, 1951, in Brady, Texas, to Nasario Moron, Sr. and Julia (Adame) Moron. Jay grew up in Brady, was raised in the catholic church, and graduated from Brady High School. He attended art school at San Antonio College before going to work as a carpenter in the construction business. He worked for Fernando LaFuente Construction for several years. He continued his artistic love his entire life, painting portraits and other pieces. He enjoyed music, playing corn hole, meditation, and yoga. He was a lifelong resident of Brady.

Jay’s wishes were for his remains to be cremated with no services being held. His cremated remains will be buried at Rest Haven Cemetery at a later date. Friends may view and/or sign Jay’s online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com.

Jay is survived by his loving sisters Cresencia Moron of Brady, Texas, Petra Rivera and husband Alex of Brady, Texas, and Linda Murray of Ft. Worth, Texas; several nieces and nephews including Arlene G. Toy, Rosemary Flores, Sylvia Subialdea, and Arthur Galindo and God son Tristian “Christian” Evans of Brady, Texas, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
