Catherine Dae Braden, born on March 30, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas, gracefully departed this life on July 30, 2025, at her home in Santa Anna, Texas. She was a dedicated aircraft and flight mechanic, a career that not only showcased her remarkable skills but also her commitment to excellence in the aviation industry.

Growing up in Greenville, Catherine attended school in the area and developed a deep love for her family, which remained a central aspect of her life. Her nurturing spirit and warmth resonated with everyone she encountered, making the time spent with her family truly special.

Catherine is survived by her two sons, Chad Salmon of Lone Oak and Zachery Pierce of Santa Anna. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Greg Holmes of Montana, Douglas Holmes of Santa Anna, and Ilene Allen of Greenville. Each of these relationships was precious to her, and the memories shared will carry forward her spirit.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Holmes and Neta Koen Holmes, her brother Allen Holmes, and one daughter. These individuals, whom she cherished dearly, leave behind an enduring legacy within her family.

Catherine’s life was marked by her passion for her work and her unwavering devotion to her family. She will be fondly remembered and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

At Catherine’s request, no formal service will be held. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

We invite you to share fond memories and words of comfort and condolence with the Braden family by signing the guestbook on Catherine’s tribute page at www.stevensfuneralhome.com. Stevens Funeral Home is honored to serve the Braden family.
