Holly Edward Oliver, Jr, age 59, of Brownwood, passed away on Tuesday July 8, 2025. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10:00 am at Heartland Funeral Home in Early, with Terry Garrett officiating.

Holly was born October 14, 1965, in Waco, to Hollie Edward Oliver Sr and Nancy Diann Cargill. He married Christine Blake on May 8th, 2004, in Lake Whitney.

Holly graduated from TSTI with honors and began his lifelong career in automotive transmissions. He worked for multiple shops before branching out into bulldozing and operating Holly O’s Dozer Service. He later returned to the transmission business owning and operating One Way Transmissions in Brownwood.

Holly loved hunting, fishing, building and riding motorcycles, and jet skiing but overall, he loved serving the Lord. In 2012, Holly joined the Emmaus Community, where he dedicated himself to helping transform lives and leading others to Christ. To know Holly was to know deep compassion and tremendous love. He will be remembered not only for his honest spirit, but through the countless lives he impacted throughout his lifetime.

Holly was preceded in death by his father Hollie Edward Oliver Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Christine Oliver, his mother Nancy Dianne Cargill and husband Tommy, stepmother Saundra Oliver, daughter Tarra Brown and husband Matt, son Joseph Oliver and wife Brianna, son David Oliver and wife Whitleigh, daughter Molly Oliver, 6 grandchildren, many special cousins, friends and his beloved bulldog Gracie.

For those desiring, the family has suggested memorial contributions to Big Country Baptist Assembly 201 FM 142, Lueders, TX 79533

Condolences, memories, and tributes can be offered to the Oliver family online at heartlandfuneralhome.com
