Baked Artisan Goods, in downtown Brownwood, has been acquired by Christian Nance, owner of the Lucille + Mabel Kitchen and Libations.  Rebecca Morelock has owned and operated Baked Artisan Goods for several years, offering a great variety of elite baked products.  Becca will remain with Baked Artisan Goods, now with the support and partnership of Christian Nance, and the Lucille + Mabel Restaurant.  Christian and Becca issued the following press release;

“Fresh Flavors, Familiar Faces:  Local Bakery and Restaurant Join Forces.

“Big news is baking in the neighborhood!  Rebecca, beloved owner of Baked Artisan Goods, and Christian Nance of Lucille + Mabel have officially teamed up to create a one-of-a-kind culinary experience – combining the warm, flaky charm of a neighborhood bakery with the elevated vibes of a wine bar and restaurant.

“Don’t worry! Your favorite pastries aren’t going anywhere! With their new partnership, the bakery will stay true to its roots while expanding its hours, offerings, and atmosphere.  Rebecca’s still onboard and ready to bring even more delicious ideas to life, now backed by Lucille + Mabel’s restaurant know-how and passion for excellence.

“The duo promises exciting updates, cozy evenings, and plenty of reasons to stop by.  Keep an eye on Instagram and Facebook for sneak peeks, launch dates, and maybe even a soft opening invite.

“This isn’t just a business move.  It’s a community upgrade!  Stay tuned.  It’s going to be really, really good.”

As mentioned above, Rebecca Morelock will stay with Baked Artisan Goods, and operate as normal for now, with new things coming soon.  Stay tuned!
