
The following was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:
On Thursday, 7-3-2025, at about 11:16 hours, Sgt Byron Langley arrived at the Zephyr Water Supply, located at S US 183, Zephyr, TX, regarding harassment. Sgt Langley spoke to Cindy Mayes (Victim), who stated CLAYTON KEITH MILLER (Suspect) had called, harassing her.
On 07/03/2025, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to CR 334, Blanket, TX, 76432 regarding Dangerous Dogs. Deputy Geis arrived and spoke to Richard Oprea, who said his neighbors’ dogs had attacked. I went and spoke to Jimmy Walls, who said his wife was the one who owned the dogs. Deputy Geis was unable to make contact with the wife, who was at work. Information was gathered and a report was made.
On July 4, 2025, at approximately 16:30, Deputy Dean Anderson was dispatched to Oak Point on Lake Brownwood, May, TX 76857, for a call concerning a Quad four-wheeler accident. Gabriella Zapata was injured in a four-wheeler accident while driving around the Oak Point area. Zapata was transported to the main entrance of Oak Point by Katelyn Rickman and Heaven Coulston to meet law enforcement and medical. EMS transported Zapata to Hendrick Medical Center Emergency Room for treatment of her injuries. Information was gathered and report submitted.
On July 4th, 2025, at approximately 17:14 hours, Deputy TJ Harrell was dispatched to North State Highway 279 in regard to a theft. Deputy Harrell spoke with Jeffery Parks and Beverley Gonzales. On this date, HAROLD STONE took several pieces of c purling without the consent of the owner, Jack Powell. A report was taken, and investigation is underway.
On Friday, July 4, 2025, at approximately 1811 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Francisco Valencia was dispatched to the FM 3021, Brownwood, TX, regarding an accident. Upon arrival, there was visible signs of a traffic accident and property damage. However, there were no suspects vehicles on scene. Information was gathered and a report was made.
On Friday, July 4, 2025, at approximately 2331 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Francisco Valencia was dispatched to an address on N US 183, Early, TX, regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, both parties involved were separate. The complainant stated she was assaulted by her boyfriend while they were driving from an event out of town. However, the assault did occur in Brown County. Information was gathered and a report was made.
On Saturday, July 5, 2025, at approximately 1816 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Francisco Valencia was dispatched to an address on E US 377 regarding a crisis intervention. The male complainant was highly intoxicated and was having suicidal/homicidal ideations. The complainant’s wife also called 911 and stated she was assaulted by the male. After an investigation, the male was placed into custody for Assault Family Violence Impeding Breath/Circulation and Resisting Arrest. A report was made.
On 07/06/2025, at 1709 hours, Deputy Wilson was dispatched to Cr 180 for a criminal mischief, which occurred between July 4th and July 6th. Amadello Aguirre said someone threw a firecracker into his mailbox, destroying his mail and the box. Information was obtained and a report has been made.
