Well, it’s almost halftime of the baseball season. It’s always kind of baffled me why they don’t have halftime. Half of the season you go to the All Star game. Anyway, that’s my gripe on the baseball game and how they play it. The way it actually is, it’s about eighty games I guess for the first round and some forty games for the second round.

Anyway that’s beside the point. The point I’m going to make is that baseball gets exciting this time of the year. They twiddle their fingers and try to improve their game and everything and then all of it goes into the last couple of months of the regular season and the post season then you finally get two playing in the World Series.

Well, anyway, the Houston Astros are amazing to me! I mean flat out amazing! They dominate the first round, fact is, they have dominated – aside from two other teams – the whole postseason here.

Well, the first part of the season comes up and guess what. Well, last week they play Philadelphia and they win three straight. They played Philly at home and they won three straight. Then they played the Dodgers this weekend in Los Angeles and they beat them three straight.

So, I don’t know. I’ve still got my Houston Astros, but you know, I’m beginning to wonder if they – who knows – they may, oh surely they couldn’t, yeah, they could. They may end up in first place by three games or whatever, or two games, or by one game, but I’m telling you, this is a Houston ball club that is GOOD! Look at what I’m going to tell you. I know some of you hate Houston, but they are my team and therefore I’ve got to cheer for them. I am baffled by them. I’ll be honest with you. I’m baffled by the way they’re playing. I’m baffled by the way they look. Listen, right now they have had Jordon Alvarez for a grand total of – I don’t know – he’s missed about six weeks now. They haven’t had him for the season. The only one they’ve had is Jose Altuve. Other than that I’ can’t explain it.

I mean, they have nothing as far as the other teams go. They have Altuve and that’s it! They’ve got some other guys that are participating and actually playing pretty dog-gone good. But, they don’t have any “stars”! They’ve got about three pitchers missing and they’ve got the big first baseman missing and it’s amazing that they are even – I mean I sat there last night trying to figure this out and it’s amazing to me that they’ve got Altuve and pitching wise they’ve got Hunter Brown whose been a miracle, and Framber Valdez whose another miracle and that’s it!

They are hot now. They’ve won – and if they can coast to the All Star break with about sixty wins… Hey, this is something that’s baffling me! They are GOOD! REAL GOOD and I can’t wait to see the rest of this one!

Until next time, so long everybody.
