Raymond Sanchez, III (Raymie), 45, was called home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2025. Raymond was born on October 6, 1979, in Menard, TX to Raymond Sanchez Jr. and Sandra Quiroz. He was raised in Menard, TX and graduated from Menard High school in 1998 and was a jack of all trades. He spent his later years in Menard raising his three wonderful sons Tomas Antonio Sanchez, Raymond Adrian Sanchez, and John Paul Sanchez. He was a devoted son, brother, father, uncle, cousin, and friend. He loved spending time with everyone and was always the life of the party. On Friday nights you could find him in the stands being a proud father and cheering on his boys and on Saturday’s you could find him grilling and drinking with the family. He was always quick to spit out a bible verse, short story, or poem to anyone who would listen or even no listen to him. He was everyone’s biggest supporter and knew no stranger. Raymond was a traveling man and was always down for a new adventure. On June 21, 2025, he decided to retire and come home to Menard, TX to join his pops and help him improve the family land. He had a contagious laugh and beautiful smile; he could and would light up any room he walked into.
Funeral services for Raymie Sanchez will be at 1:30pm, Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the American Legion Post # 378 in Menard with Reverend Baltimore Gonzales officiating.
