Charles “Coop” Cooper, PA, Announces New Family Practice Location in Brownwood with Focus on Primary Health Care and Veterans Health.

Coop a Family Practice PA known for his compassionate and thorough approach to care, is proud to announce the upcoming relocation of his medical practice to 2410 Crockett Drive, Suite A Brownwood, TX. He will be practicing alongside his long-time mentor, friend, and colleague, Dr. Gary Butka, Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.

The clinic will deliver high-quality, personalized care for patients of all ages, with a dedicated focus on family medicine and veteran access as part of the Military Veteran Medical Home (MVMH) initiative—ensuring timely, respectful, and continuous care for those who have bravely served our country.

We are honored to serve the families and veterans of Brownwood and the surrounding communities. Our goal is to create a true medical home where every patient feels heard, respected, and cared for.

Coop will be joined by his trusted and compassionate Nurse Kayla, known for her warm bedside manner and clinical excellence. The practice will be accepting new patients, and same-day walk-in visits will ALWAYS be available. Whether you’re continuing established care or searching for a new provider, “Coop”  and his team are ready to welcome you.

In addition, the clinic will collaborate closely with our partners at TxOIC to support patients through Physiologic Insulin Resistance (PIR) program. PIR is a targeted, data-driven approach to identifying and reversing early insulin resistance—a root cause of many chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, diabetic neuropathy, obesity, and fatigue. Through this innovative partnership, patients will have access to advanced lab screening, nutrition support, and metabolic optimization, giving them the tools to take control of their life.

The official opening date at the new Brownwood location will be July 7th. Hours will be from 7am-5pm.

Stay tuned for updates as we prepare to open our doors and continue our mission to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to the Community and its Veterans.

Thank you for the opportunity to be a Partner in your Health Care.
