
The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:
On June 21, 2025, at approximately 08:25, I, Deputy Dean Anderson, was dispatched to a call for service concerning an animal complaint at Hendrick Urgent Care, 400 E Commerce St, Brownwood, TX 76801. I spoke with Sebastian Adian Jonckers and his grandfather, Travis Roy Crawford, to get information from them, pertaining to the animal complaint. Sebastian said the attack happened at his grandfather’s ranch, located at Farm to Market 2525, at approximately 07:20. Information was gathered, and report was submitted.
On Saturday June 21, 2025, at 09:04 hours, Sgt Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to CR 151 regarding illegal dumping. Dispatched advised the complainant stated a couch had been dumped on the side of the road. Upon arrival, the couch was located. Information was gathered and a report was completed.
On June 21, 2025, at approximately 12:01, I, Deputy Dean Anderson, was dispatched to a walk-in call for service concerning a theft. I spoke with Orion Brooks Huron Jr, who resides at US-183, Early, TX 76802, said he missed a phone call at 09:50, and the caller left a voice mail telling him it was Detective Dana Brooks from Brown County Sheriff’s Office. Brooks told Huron he had an active warrant for Failure to Complete a Blood Test. Information was gathered, and a report was submitted.
On Saturday June 21, 2025, at 12:39 hours, Sgt Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to CR 551 regarding an open door. Dispatch advised the complainant, Rebecca Mendez, arrived home and her front door was open. Upon arrival, contact was made with Mendez. Mendez stated no property had been taken from the residence. Information was gathered and a report was completed.
On June 22, 2025, at approximately 11:18, I, Deputy Dean Anderson, was dispatched to a call for service by telephone concerning a theft. I spoke with Ronald Dale Harris, who resides at County Road 116, Brownwood, TX 76801. Harris said approximately two (2) months ago, he allowed Melissa Renee Garcia to stay at his residence to help her out. When Garcia left the residence, she took a cell phone with Harris’s Cash App card information on the cell phone. Harris said on June 21, 2025, Garcia attempted to purchase items on her PayPal account with his Cash App card for the amount of $154. Information was gathered, and a report was submitted.
