Bronson Shaw

Former Brownwood Lion Bronson Shaw was recently named the head football coach at Incline High School in Carson City, Nevada. The school made the following post on its Facebook page on Monday, June 17

Please give a big warm Incline welcome to our new Head Football Coach Bronson Shaw. He kicked off our summer football this morning at 8:30 with our Highlanders.

“My name is Bronson Shaw. My wife, Lindsey, and I moved to Carson City in 2023 when she accepted a position at Carson Tahoe Medical Center. We’ve been grateful to settle in and are enjoying everything this area has to offer.

I was raised in central Texas by my mother, Robbyn, alongside my older brother, Benjamen, and younger sister, Rachel. I attended Brownwood High School, where I was a four-sport athlete in football, soccer, baseball, and track.

After high school, I spent two years at Texas State University before transferring to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where I played football, earning Academic All-Conference honors and contributing to two conference championship teams. I graduated with a degree in communication and minors in business administration and Christian studies.

After college, I went into residential construction management. I spent over nine years in Austin and the Dallas/Fort Worth area, completing more than 180 projects from start to finish. It was a demanding job that taught me the value of planning, accountability, and consistency—qualities I bring with me into coaching.

Outside of work, I enjoy golf and spending time outdoors. My wife and I share a love of going out to a nice dinner with family and friends.

I’m proud to be joining Incline High. From the first day, it’s been clear that this is a school and community committed to excellence. My goal is to help build a program built on hard work, trust, and teamwork. I look forward to working with the students, staff, families, and the community at large and will do everything I can to support our athletes both on and off the field.”
