Kenyon Don Black, age 53, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2025, listening to his favorite music with the love of his life. Family will receive friends at Heartland Funeral Home in Early from 1 to 3 PM on Sunday, June 22. The family will host a private memorial service at a later date.
Kenyon was born on December 27, 1971 in Burnet, Texas to Joyce and Loy Don Black. He retired from Brownwood Police Department in 2013. He was involved with Early High School Key Club, later becoming the Texas/Oklahoma Key Club District Administrator.
Kenyon was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce, and his favorite dog, Tasia.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Kate Black; son Ty Black and partner Arleen Rivas; father, Loy Don Black; and aunt, Barbara Black.
