Coleman PRCA Rodeo continues Friday night

T.C. Long is the rodeo announcer for the Coleman Rodeo, which is being broadcast on KOXE.

The Coleman PRCA Rodeo continues Friday night with Mutton Bustin at 7:15pm and the rodeo at 8 p.m. Kevin Fowler will perform following the completion of Friday night’s action.

Standings through the first night of rodeo action, courtesy of ColemanToday.com, are as follows:

Bareback riding leaders: 1. Andy Gingerich, 85 points on Smith Pro Rodeos’ Betty’s Boy; 2. (tie) Gauge McBride and Jade Taton, 76 each; no other qualified rides.

Team roping leaders: 1. Clay Tryan/Cutter Pake Thomison, 4.1 seconds; 2. Jet Toberer/Jake South, 4.4; 3. Bridger Ketcham/Eddie Medina, 4.8; 4. Brenten Hall/Kaden Profili, 10.0; 5. Cory Kidd V/Dustin Davis, 10.3; 6. Forrest Fisher/Daniel Braman IV, 14.6.
Saddle bronc riding leaders: 1. Gus Gaillard, 86.5 points on Smith Pro Rodeos’ Blew Apart; 2. Jacobs Crawley, 83.5; 3. Cauy Masters, 82.5; 4. Sterling Crawley, 82; 5. Keene Justesen, 81; 6. Brody Cress, 80.5.

Tie-down roping leaders: 1. Ace Reese, 9.5 seconds; 2. Ryan Thibodeaux, 9.8; 3. Kreece Dearing, 10.0; 4. Clint Singleton, 10.4; 5. Blaze Byler, 10.5; 6. Tripp Brown, 10.6.

Barrel racing leaders: 1. Deb Guelly, 17.08 seconds; 2. Gracen Harman, 17.11; 3. Lauren England, 17.33; 4. Kendall Purgatorio, 17.49; 5. Shayna Wimberly, 17.51; 6. Lisa Thornton, 17.56.

Bull riding leaders: 1. Canyon Bass, NS; no other qualified rides.

The rodeo will be broadcast on KOXE 101.3 FM.
