The Bangs Cowboy Cook Off will take place from 2-9 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at the Bangs Event Center, located at 103 Ray Barnes Drive. 

There will be food trucks, vendors, and alcohol on site. Additionally there will be live music performances by Callahan Divide, Christy Patton, and Eli Williams. 

An hour before the cook off begins, 88 Xterminating will host a cornhole tournament at 1 p.m., also at the Bangs Event Center. The entry fee is $40 per team. First place receives the prize pot minus $40 dollars and second place will get $40 dollars.

To enter in the cook off teams must submit a name, head cook, address, and contact information. The entry fee for chicken, brisket, and pork ribs is $175, while the fee for beans or dutch oven dessert is $25. The payout is 80% and the entry fee is non-refundable.
