Early’s Longhorn Stadium on Friday morning will be the site of an eight-team 7-on-7 Division III state qualifier, as two teams will advance to the field of 32 at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex in College Station June 26-27.

Teams competing Friday include Bangs, Brady, Early, Eldorado, Goldthwaite, Hamilton, Hico, and Miles. Hamilton, Brady, and Goldthwaite have already secured state berths.

Pools will be drawn at 8:15 a.m. Friday once all teams have checked in, and the first game will take place at 8:30 a.m. The state qualifying round should be held at approximately 1 p.m.
