Seven sentences handed down in 35th District Court

The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release regarding felony cases recently heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.

  • Mason Wesley Spencer, on probation for the felony offenses of Sexual Assault of a Child and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, was revoked and sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Theodore Jamison pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Occlusion and Continuous Violence Against the Family and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Jamison, on probation for the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Occlusion and Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Yoendris Tamayo-Vera pled guilty to the felony offense of Unlawful Interception, Use or Disclosure of a Wire, Oral or Electronic Communications and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Miranda Elizabeth Elizondo, on probation for the felony offense of Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility, was revoked and sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Callie Mariah Browne, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 17 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Michael Johnson, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, was revoked and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Patrick Maurice Antonio Carruth pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Credit Card Abuse and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
