Linda Lou Marshall, of Brownwood, Texas, passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 75. She was born on October 10, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Frankie Winkles and Beatrice Autury.
A longtime resident of Brownwood, Linda spent most of her life working at Gomez Restaurant, where she made lasting friendships and touched the lives of many with her kindness and lively spirit. She loved playing bingo and found great joy in the simple things in life, especially spending time with her beloved grandson, Isiah Pollard Marshall, who held a special place in her heart.
Linda is survived by her son, David Marshall and wife Sherry of Early; her daughter, Melissa Marshall of San Angelo; and her sister, Joanne Smith and husband Sam of Fort Worth. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Marshall, and her parents, Frankie Winkles and Beatrice Autury.
The family will have a come-and-go visitation on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Linda’s warmth, humor, and love for her family will be remembered always.
