BISD announces 2024-25 End-of-Year Employee Awards

Brownwood ISD (BISD) has announced its 2024-2025 End-of-Year Employee Awards. The awards are sponsored by the Brownwood Education Foundation (BEF) and include service awards, retiree recognitions, employees of the year, teachers of the year from each campus, as well as the BISD regional teacher of the year nominees. BISD congratulates all the honorees and award-winners and would like to thank BEF for their support of these annual recognitions. BEF representatives in attendance included, Sam Stewardson (Chair), Danielle Rosborough (Executive Coordinator), and Eric Evans (Vice Chair).

DISTRICT TEACHERS OF THE YEAR

On Friday, May 30, BISD announced Brownwood Middle School teacher Mendy Green (pictured left) as the Secondary Teacher of the Year, and Woodland Heights Elementary teacher Sherri Land (pictured right) as the Elementary Teacher of the Year! These teachers will move on to represent BISD as regional teacher of the year nominees.
