The City of Brownwood will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 7 at Riverside Park to commemorate the completion of Phase I construction of the Riverside Park improvement project.

The ceremony is scheduled in conjunction with the annual Heartland Rod Run and will include a commemorative photo with members of Heartland Cruisers immediately following the ribbon cutting.

The Heartland Rod Run will continue throughout the day, featuring a classic car show, vendors, food, and family-friendly activities. Free registration for the car show begins at 7:00 AM.
