
The Brown County Rodeo has been a western tradition here in Brownwood since 1964. Entries are being accepted for the Brown County Rodeo Parade on Saturday morning June 7th at 10 am. The 2025 Rodeo Parade Grand Marshal will be Gary Worley a long-time member, supporter, and past President of the Brown County Fair Association
The Rodeo kicks off with the annual membership meeting in the Home Economics building on Thursday June 5th from 5-7 pm. Come and vote for the new board members of your choice. If you have not purchased your yearly membership this year don’t let that stop you, memberships will be available to purchase at the door as well. This year we will be serving Pulled Pork and some Blue Bell Ice Cream.
Pick up your adult tickets for $10 at KOXE 101.3 FM at 300 Carnegie St. or Citizen’s National Bank #1 Carnegie St. and save. Tickets at the gate will be $12 for general admission.
Texas Bank has sponsored all the kids 12 and under get in free all 3 nights.
The Gates open at 6:30 with the Mutton Bustin starting at 7 pm each night.
For everyone that participates in the Grand Entry they will receive free admission to the rodeo that night. Let’s bring back that western heritage and make the Grand Entry strong again.
Veterans and First Responders are Honored with FREE admission to all uniformed First Responders and Veterans on Thursday night to express our appreciation for your service and for our freedom.
The Lonesome Dove Rodeo Co. is providing the Mutton Bustin and sponsored by Wells Custom Floors. The cost of the Mutton Bustin is only $20 / child.
Then the action-packed Rodeo begins at 7:30 pm.
T. C. Long is back as your Rodeo Announcer along with James Andrews Rodeo Co. providing the rough stock.
Gizo McCracken will be your Specialty Act each night.
The San Angelo Ambassadors Riding Club is back and having a nightly performance as well.
The BULL TOSS will happen again each night. Watch for our Brown County Fair Assoc. Ambassadors and Royalty they will be selling the Bulls for $5 during the night.
The always popular Junior Broncs are back again this year
The Lonesome Dove Rodeo Company is providing the JUNIOR BRONCS, and the event is sponsored by Ag-Mart.
Don’t forget about the Senior Calf Scramble Competition each night. 10 students will be awarded $500 to $1,000 to go toward their purchase of a stock show animal for the Brown County Stock Show in January of 2026.
