Peyton Cockerham is the daughter of Mitzi Cockerham and Jason Cockerham. She is the granddaughter of the late Margie Michael and Margaret Copeland and Kim and Barbara Cockerham. During her time at Early High School she was a member of the EHS Belles Dance Team and an active member of the FFA. She is a member of the Salt-teens youth group at Salt Creek Baptist Church. Peyton plans to attend Tarleton State University in the fall and major in Agricultural Services and Development.
