The Cow Camp Cookoff is slated to run from 9 a.m. Friday, May 16 through 11 p.m. Saturday, May 17 at Riesen Park in San Saba.
According to its Facebook page. the Cow Camp Cookoff — where great BBQ meets a great cause!
Held annually in beautiful Risien Park in San Saba, Texas, the Cow Camp Cookoff is a proud stop on the Outlaw BBQ Association series. Teams from across the region fire up their pits and bring their best to compete in this smokin’ hot showdown of brisket, ribs, chicken, and more.
But this event is about more than just BBQ — it’s about community, competition, and compassion. All proceeds from the Cow Camp Cookoff go directly to support the Cherokee Home for Children, a nonprofit dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment for kids in need.
Whether you’re a seasoned pitmaster, a backyard BBQ fan, or just love supporting a good cause, the Cow Camp Cookoff has something for everyone — live music, good eats, and the unbeatable spirit of small-town Texas.
Come hungry. Leave inspired. See y’all at Cow Camp!
Also, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 16 live music will be provided by talented father-son duo, Wes & Jadeyn Bryant, free of charge.
