Beverly Ann Gee, born on July 26, 1944, in Coleman, Texas, passed away peacefully at her residence in Coleman on May 6, 2025. She was a beloved member of the community, whose presence will be greatly missed by all who had the honor to know her.

Beverly dedicated her life to serving others, spending 49 years owning and operating her own beauty shop in Coleman. Throughout her career, she formed lasting relationships with her customers, many of whom became great friends. Her warm spirit and exceptional talent made her shop a welcoming place for everyone.

Growing up in Coleman, Beverly attended local schools and graduated from Coleman High School. Her dedication to her community did not end with her career; she was deeply involved in various activities aimed at supporting and nurturing the younger generation. A devoted member of Elm Street Church of Christ, she served as the director of Joy Station Tuesday School, where she found joy in teaching and guiding children. In addition, Beverly contributed her time and energy as a Girl Scout Leader and participated in the Coleman High School Band Booster, always eager to support her community’s youth.

Beverly is survived by her sister, Kathryn Payne; her niece, Christy Hutchinson; her nephew, Mark Payne; several great nieces; and a host of friends who cherished her vivacity and kindness.

She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Wilson Gee; her mother and stepfather, Lela and Archie Nettles; her brother, Danny Nettles; her maternal grandparents, G.T. and Allie Nell Metts; and her great-niece, Danielle Hutchinson.

The family will host a visitation from 5:00pm to 6:00pm Friday, May 9, 2025, at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman. Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at 10:00am Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Elm Street Church of Christ, 216 W. Elm Street, in Coleman with Bob Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

As we remember Beverly, we celebrate a life filled with love, dedication to family and community, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. Her legacy of generosity and warmth will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. She will be fondly remembered and cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.

The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in memory of Beverly be made to Elm Street Church of Christ, P.O. Box 998, Coleman, Texas 76834.

We invite you to share fond memories and words of comfort and condolence with the Gee family by signing the guestbook on Beverly’s tribute page at www.stevensfuneralhome.com. Stevens Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gee family.
