Anna Ruth Willyard, age 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Anna was a devoted Christian whose faith guided every aspect of her life. She was a talented artist who found joy in painting, sketching, and drawing — creating beautiful works of art for those she loved most. Anna also dedicated her life to caring for others, working for many years as an LVN and later in home health hospice, offering comfort and compassion to families in need.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: daughters Sandy Heard and husband David of Brownwood, and Joey Diane Krause and husband Gary of Smithville; brothers Terry Cloud and wife Tammy, and Troy Cloud. She was a proud grandmother to Cassie Rindal and husband Matt of Georgia, Kristian Heard and wife Kayla of Colorado, and Sarah, Madison, and Kyndall Krause of Smithville. Anna was also blessed with great-grandchildren Emilia, Bradley, and Caspian, who brought her endless joy.

Anna is preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim Willyard, her parents Esther and Thomas Cloud, her daughter Sherry Lofman, and her faithful dog, Lucy.

A funeral service celebrating Anna’s life will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home in Brownwood, with Pastor Todd King officiating. Visitation will follow the service from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place at Springer Macedonia Cemetery in Hockley, Texas, at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Corrine T. Smith Animal Center c/o Ann Willyard. 3016 Miliam Dr, Brownwood, Tx 76801.

Anna’s warmth, kindness, and creative spirit will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
