Patricia Fullagar Willems, of Brady, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with breast cancer. She was 70 years old. Patti leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Born on February 1, 1955, in Brady, Patti was the beloved daughter of Sterling and Gwen Fullagar. She spent most of her childhood in Ft. Stockton, Texas and graduated from Ft. Stockton High School in 1973.

Patti called Bryan/College Station home for many years, earning two degrees from Texas A&M University in 1982 and 1986. She poured her heart into public education, devoting over 25 years to Bryan ISD as a teacher, tennis coach, and administrator—touching the lives of countless students and colleagues along the way.

On March 22, 1990, Patti married the love of her life, Fred Willems, in College Station. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in love, adventure, and shared dreams. Whether traveling, working their ranch, or simply enjoying the quiet rhythm of life in the country, Patti and Fred were a true team. In 2015, they retired full-time to their beloved ranch in Brady.

Patti was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a cherished “Grandma.” She is survived by her husband Fred, her children Kelly Langdon (Micah), Brian Yawn (Vannica), Greg Willems (Christina) and Brian Willems, her beloved grandchildren Owen, Adler, Aiden, Sterling, Kendall, Hadley, and Keely, her great grandchildren Emrys and Ivory, and her brother Mike Fullagar (Doniene).

She loved the peacefulness of country life, tending to her livestock, sewing beautiful things for those she loved, sharing family meals, and heading out on hunting adventures. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family. She will be remembered for her generous heart, adventurous spirit, fierce determination, and the deep love she gave to those around her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Sunset Ridge Church of Christ in Brady with Virgil Webb officiating. Friends may view and/or sign Patricia’s online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com.
