Freshman Savannah Thomas competed Thursday and Friday, April 17 – 18, 2025, at the TAIAO State Championship Track & Field meet in Abbott, TX.  She retained her title as the 100M and 200M State Champion for the second year in a row.

She competed in the 100M Dash, 200M Dash, Long Jump and 3 relays.

She set a personal record of 25.8 seconds in the 200M Dash.  She won gold in the Girls Varsity 100M and 200M and won silver in the Long Jump.

She helped her team win silver in the 4x100M relay, 4x200M relay, and the 4x400M relay.

Savannah, a Brown County resident, is a homeschooler that competes with the Stephenville Faith Knights Athletic Team.

The Stephenville Faith Knights Athletic teams afford local homeschool, private school,
and charter school students the opportunity to participate in sports. They are members
of the Texas Association of Independent Athletic Organizations (TAIAO).
