Annie Mearl Morris of Talpa, Texas passed to the arms of her Lord Jesus on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 5:15 pm at the Ballinger Healthcare and Rehab.

Services will be Tuesday April 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Santa Anna Cemetery with services under the care and direction of Henderson Funeral Home Staff of Santa Anna.

Annie Mearl was born one of ten siblings into the arms of her loving parents Joe Minus and Annie Elizabeth Willis Morris.  She was a lifetime resident of Santa Anna where she attended the Santa Anna Schools and was an active member of the Assembly of God Church.

As a restaurant cook she was known for her excellent culinary skills and scrumptious pies.  An avid reader of Westerns she also enjoyed watching westerns and wrestling on TV and listening to music.  She shared her skills to photography taking many family pictures and buying many prom dresses for her nieces.  Annie had resided with her niece Leslie Hoelscher family since 2011.

Annie Mearl was preceded in death by 3 Sisters Gladys, Joyce and Cleta and 5 Brothers Clifford, John Thomas, Joe Roy, Marion and Willis.
