SALSA, the Strategic Alliance for Leadership and Social Action, a 501 C (3) tax exempt non-profit organization, is continuing its FUNDRAISING for SCHOLARSHIPS by inviting the general public to come and play Loteria, Mexican Bingo, from 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM, Sunday, April 27, at Club 325, 717 W. Commerce.

Loteria is a game that everyone and the entire family can play. The price is only $10 per card. There is no limit to the number of cards a player or family can buy and play.

Every game has a winner, and all winners will receive a prize. Please come and have some fun and help SALSA raise funds for student scholarships.

SALSA has awarded over $50,000 in scholarships, the first of which were awarded to seven students on May 5, 2021. The first to graduate college and immediately enroll in graduate school at Texas A&M was Brandon “Hunter” Day. Since then, others have graduated from HPU, Angelo State University, Ranger College, and Austin Community College. Others are now certified and gainfully employed as phlebotomists, dental assistants, nurses’ aides and in other vocations.

For more information, interested persons may contact Giovanna Garcia, SALSA president, at 325.642.4212.
