
Bangs Lady Dragons 5, Ballinger 2
BALLINGER – The Bangs Lady Dragons chalked up another District 8-2A victory at Ballinger, 5-2, on Tuesday.
The Lady Dragons scored twice in the top of the first inning, two more times in the third and added a final run in the fifth, while Ballinger recorded both its runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Bangs finished with eight hits – three by Abby Wolf, who homered and drove in one; two by Neeley Bradley, who doubled and plated a runner; and one apiece by Julianna Ethridge, Stormy Stringer and Aubree Buford.
In the circle, Wolf surrendered two unearned runs on three hits with 12 strikeouts, and the Bangs defense committed a pair of errors.

May Tigers 10, Gorman 2
MAY – The May Tigers remained undefeated on the season with a 10-2 triumph over District 7-A rival Gorman Tuesday.
The Tigers (8-0-1) scored five runs in the bottom of the second inning, one in the fourth and four more in the sixth frame. Gorman scratched across runs in the third and seventh innings.
May collected nine hits – three by Ben Harrell, two each by Brody Stice and Lane Goodson, and one piece by Hunter Seider and Kobey Morris. Goodson and Morris both finished with two RBIs while Seider and Stice each contributed one.
On the mound, Morris went the distance and yielded one earned run on two hits with 16 strikeouts and three walks. The Tiger defense committed two errors behind him.

Early Longhorns 9, Dublin 6
EARLY – The Early Longhorns picked up their third District 8-3A baseball victory of the season, 9-6 over Dublin Tuesday night.
The Longhorns (5-13, 3-6) jumped out to a 6-0 lead and carried a 9-1 edge to the top of the seventh inning, where Dublin struck for five runs.
Early finished with five hits – two by Rowan McDermed and one each by Jack Nowell, Jaxson Stockman and Lawson Barron. Caden Wilson drew three walks while Skyden Stoddart reached twice on base on balls. Nowell recorded two RBIs while Barron, McDermed and Ben Wilson contributed one each.
On the mound, Barron and Chris Ivy combined to give up four earned runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts and five walks. The Early defense committed three errors.

Breckenridge 10, Early Lady Horns 5
BRECKENRIDGE – The Early Lady Horns slipped to 13-8 on the season and 4-6 against District 8-3A foes with a 10-5 loss at Breckenridge Tuesday.
The Lady Horns gave up the first nine runs before scoring twice in the fourth inning. Down 10-2, the Lady Horns tacked on another run in the sixth inning and two more in the seventh, but couldn’t complete the comeback.
Early generated seven hits – two by Jamie Vassar, including a home run, and one apiece by Kyleigh Caperton, Andie Simpson, Marissa Reedy, Jaime Lyon and Harper Thornberry. Vassar also tallied a team-best two RBIs while Simpson and Reedy each added one.
In the circle, Leslee Beard and Sydney Greaves allowed 10 earned runs on 10 hits with five strikeouts and eight walks. The Lady Horns defense committed one error.

Ballinger 10, Bangs Dragons 4
BALLINGER – The Bangs Dragons suffered a District 7-2A baseball road loss at the hands of Ballinger, 10-4, Tuesday.
The Dragons gave up the first four runs before closing the gap to 4-2 in the top of the fourth, but Ballinger answered with two more runs in the bottom half. The Dragons trailed 9-2 after five innings, and each team scored another run over the final three half-innings.
Bangs produced six hits – three by Connor Bible, two by Kaleb Biggs and one by Skylar Minshew. Biggs also tallied both Dragon RBIs.
On the mound, Jaxon Duncan, Kason Klutts and Caiden Orosco teamed up to allow five earned runs on seven hits with two strikeouts and six walks. The Bangs defense committed five errors.
