Early voting for the May 3 general election will take place April 22-29 at the Brown County Elections Office located at 613 North Fisk. Hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 22-25, then from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 28-29. Election Day, Saturday, May 3, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at seven locations.

Local races include the Early ISD Board of Trustees where Robert Welker is on the ballot for Place 3, Scott Bird for Place 4, and Amanda DeVusser and Daniel Rodriguez for Place 5.

Running for two open seats on the Bangs ISD Board of Trustees are Dennis Sanchez, Robert (R.C.) Lehman, Eric Lykins and Joy Mitchell. Also running to fill an unexpired term are Larry Lehman and Blu Tidwell.
