Hendrick Health is proud to welcome Babu R. Jasti, MD, to Hendrick Clinic Cardiology Brownwood. Dr. Jasti received his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in India and completed an internship at Frankford Hospital in Philadelphia. At Cook County Hospital in Chicago, he was named chief resident during residency training, followed by a fellowship. He completed a second fellowship, in interventional cardiology, at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

“Becoming a doctor was a profound and personal journey,” said Dr. Jasti. “It involved a passion for science and a family history of heart disease. Having spent decades in urban settings, I realize that rural medicine is incredibly impactful and rewarding. I love building strong relationships in close-knit communities.”

Dr. Jasti provides care for multiple cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart rhythm disorders and cardiometabolic disorders.
