Brown County freshman home school student Savannah Thomas, who competes as a member of the Stephenville Faith Knights athletic program, placed first in the 100 meters with a personal best time of 12.27, and also finished first in the 200 meters and 400 meters in the recent Star of Texas Relays in Zephyr.

The Stephenville Faith Knights Athletic teams afford local home school, private school, and charter school students the opportunity to participate in sports. They are members of the Texas Association of Independent Athletic Organizations (TAIAO).
