Five sentenced in 35th District Court

The office of District Attorney Micheal Murray issued the following press release regarding felony cases recently heard in 35th District Court by Judge Mike Smith.

  • Jeremy John Howell pled guilty to the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 35 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Howell pled guilty to the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Michael Ross Burnett Jr. aka Michael Ross Burnett pled guilty to two separate state jail felony offenses of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Tabitha Jean Belveal, on probation for the state jail felony offenses of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Brayan-Odair Vega-Aguilar pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
  • Cecil Clarence Kite aka Cecil Kite Jr. pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
