GRAHAM – Records continued to fall for the Brownwood Lady Lions track and field team, which earned its fourth championship in as many outings Saturday at the Possum Kingdom Relays.

The Lady Lions finished first in 10 events and generated 194 points in the Class 4A-3A Division, easily outdistancing runner-up Holiday (109). Sidney Windham in the 3200 meters (11:33.87), Hannah Deen in the high jump (5-7), and Grace Sparks in the pole vault (11-0) all set new school records, while the 4×400 relay team of Rebekkah Delgado, Braycee Lee, Jade Morin and Kate Tindol (3:57.81) tied the school record Saturday.

The Brownwood Lions, meanwhile, turned in their best effort of the season with a second-place team effort of 105 points, just seven off the winning pace of Holliday (112). The JV Lady Lions earned another team title as well with 133 points competing in the Class 2A-1A Division.

Originally slated to take part in the Angelo Relays this weekend, that meet was canceled due to the strong winds and Brownwood wound up in Graham at the last minute.
