Mary Ann Pape age 84 of Rockport, Texas passed to the arms of her Jesus on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 7:05 am at the Rockport Nursing and Rehab in Rockport, Texas.

Services will be Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 11:00 am at Santa Anna Cemetery Pavilion with Bro Jami McCravey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Santa Anna Cemetery with services under the direction and care of Henderson Funeral Home Staff.  Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday at 9:00 am at Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna.

Mary Ann was born on December 15, 1940 in Santa Anna, Texas to her loving parents Loyd Kelly and Gladys Faye McCartney Wardlow.  She was raised and spent her childhood in Santa Anna graduating from Santa Anna High School.  She married Alvin Pape who preceded her in death in 1961.  On March 16, 1963 Mary Ann married Orvel Louis Pape and they celebrated 61 years of marriage.

Mary and Orvel were residents of Sequin for 20 years moving back to Santa Anna in 1995.  She devotedly cared for her family and enjoyed their many hours spent together.  In their retirement years they moved to Rockport.

Mary is survived by Husband Orvel Pape of Rockport, TX; 4 Sons Michael Lynn & wife Sheila Pape of Prince Rupert BC, Canada; Bruce Owen & wife Karen Pape of Seguin, TX; Edward Jerome & wife Virginia Pape of Rockport, TX; James Kelly Pape of Santa Anna, TX; 2 Brothers Bradley Wardlow of Copperas Cove, TX; Bobby Joe Wardlow of Waco, TX; 11 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.
