Brookesmith Independent School District is proud to announce its Accelerated Reader champions for the period ending February 21, 2025.

All three champions are students of second grade teacher Ms. Juakana Nelson. The numbers of books read and tests passed are cumulative for the year.

Summer Seamans earned FIRST PLACE, with 136.8 points,  by reading and passing tests for 267 books 

Cassidy Haws earned an extremely close SECOND PLACE, with 135 points, by reading and passing tests for 265 books! 

Braelynn Loyd earned THIRD PLACE with 68.7 points, by reading and passing tests for 145 books!

The district is extremely proud of the accomplishments of these girls, the extraordinary support of Ms. Nelson, and the remitting encouragement and enthusiasm of the school Librarian, Ms. Teresa Contreras.
