WEATHERFORD – The May Tigers’ basketball season came to an end in the Class A Division I Region III semifinals Thursday night with a 78-58 loss to Perrin-Whitt at Weatherford High School.

May (31-4) trailed Perrin-Whitt (31-5) by a 24-11 margin after one quarter, 42-28 at halftime and 66-45 heading to the fourth period.

The Tigers received 21 points from Kobey Morris, 12 from Brody Stic, 10 from Ben Harrell, eight from Tyran Perry, five from Mikey Scheriger and two points from Kaden Watkins.

Jack McCormick led all scorers in the game with 38 points.
