Connor Leigh Murphy, 26, of Early, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 15, 2025.

Connor was born September 22, 1998 in Galveston, Texas to Daniel and Margaret Murphy. He graduated high school from Early, Texas and attended college at Howard Payne University. Connor overcame early challenges in life after being born at only 2 lbs. 6 oz. He fought to grow stronger, spending the first year of his life on oxygen. Despite those challenges, he was a bright and happy child that grew to overcome those set backs and became a USPA State & National Champion powerlifting record holder in 2017. Connor married his lovely wife, Jennifer in 2021. They were blessed with 2 beautiful babies, one who passed away in the womb. He loved to hang with his guys and play Pokémon. Connor was a young man but already had huge dreams for himself and his family, he was a quiet guy and kind of reserved if he didn’t know you, but could be a big goofy guy with his friends, family and animals. He loved typical guy stuff, hunting, fishing, cars, guns and his family.

Connor is survived by his wife, Jennifer SueAnn Murphy of Coleman; daughter, Cora Annette Murphy of Coleman; son, Zane Michael Murphy of Coleman; soon to arrive daughter, Olivia Grace Murphy due to arrive in June of this year; his parents, Daniel Francis Murphy & Margaret Annette Murphy of Brownwood; sister, Hannah E. Murphy and many cousins and friends.

Connor was preceded in death by Baby M Murphy.

Online condolences can be shared with the family at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
